Sabra Sowell-Lovejoy is a jeweler, sculptor, painter, teacher and art-coach. She has an M.F.A. from the University of New Mexico where she currently teaches at the university’s Taos branch. She has been teaching for the last 15 years and has been working as a professional artist for the last 20 years. Her work has been shown throughout the United States. She is currently working on a public art sculpture for an early childhood development center in Taos, New Mexico. She loves metal, color, texture, tools and working with her hands and mind to push the visual field of understanding as far as her creativity will take her. Sowell-Lovejoy has an extensive knowledge base and thoroughly enjoys sharing that with others in order to help them accomplish their desires artistically as well as to expand their vocabulary of creative possibilities.
