In just 3 hours, you will learn the wonders of working with shibori silk ribbon to create this luxurious beaded bracelet. No prior beading experience is necessary, instructor will demonstrate all the stitches. You will bead around a central cabochon of your choice, then add the silk for a pleasing background, which you will decorate with beads. You will learn how to line your cuff, then finish the edge with matching beads.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

  • $30 includes:
  • All the beads needed to complete your bracelet in your choice of colors
  • Matching shibori silk ribbon
  • A cabochon chosen to match the silk
  • A copper cuff
  • Ultrasuede
  • Beading needle and beading thread
  • Tutorial
  • Beading mat

Student should bring:

  • Sharp pointed embroidery scissors
  • Thimble if needed
  • A portable OTT light if needed
  • A magnifying glass if needed
