Samuel H. Peck is an artist, researcher and educator originally from Providence, Rhode Island with over ten years of art teaching experience at the K-12 and university levels. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Rhode Island and his Master of Studio Art in printmaking, drawing, and papermaking from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Education from East Carolina University. Peck is an internationally recognized expert in the field of visual journals having spoken, presented and exhibited at state, national and international institutions and conferences. The subject matter of Peck's visual journal and printmaking practice occupy and investigate the stylistic, conceptual and contextual concerns of his workshops, lectures, and presentations. Through these practices numerous presentations, workshops and lectures are facilitated around the world. Peck currently works at Northwest Guilford Middle School in Greensboro, North Carolina as art educator, resident artist and researcher.
