    Have you ever wanted to learn how to enamel on copper jewelry? Well, this is your chance to get two workshops in one. In this class you will learn basic copper enameling and fold-forming techniques to create your own beautiful fold-formed enameled necklace and earrings. I will show you how to sift the enamel powders to create your own design of your choice, and we will cover firing the enamels to your desired texture.

    Kit Fee of $5 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Copper chain, clasp

    Supplies provided by the Instructor for use in class: Torches, Enamel powders, Kylr fire

    Supply List:

  • 26 gauge copper sheet (at lease 6”x12”)
  • Shears or jewelers saw
  • Bench pin
  • Ball Pin Hammer
  • Bench block Rubber block or something to dampen the hammering sound
  • Hole punch 1.8 size or something to drill holes with
  • Small enamel sifter ( Rio Grande# 350-022)
  • Copper jump rings or wire to wire wrap your pieces to the chain
  • X-acto knife
  • Gloves
  • Chain nose pliers
    Optional:
  • Ear wires
  • 24 gauge copper wire
  • Pearls or decorative beads
