Stenciling: Paint to Plaster Wall to Wearbles Monday 9 - 4:30 $145 Kristine Kollasch
Student Level: Beginners to Intermediate
Type of Workshop: Process and Project
|
Everything you ever wanted to know about stenciling but didn’t know to ask.
We will talk about and try different types of stencils: from vinyl to cardboard, frisket and masking tape. You will make our own stencils, create textural images using plasters, putties and gel mediums. And then we’ll play with color too: acrylics, oil pastels and spray paints, stippling brushes and paint rollers.
You will be cutting out stencils with an exacto knife, so please bring one. Through the course of the class you can create the beginning surface of your next great masterpiece, learn how to enhance your walls, and even make a fun t-shirt or personalize your duffle bag. Plan to learn a lot more than just stenciling….
