10 Objects 10 Ways Tuesday 9 - 4:30 $135
  Jane LaFazio July 31

Student Level:
Confident Beginner - Intermediate
Type of Workshop: Process

Hold onto your pen, it’s going to be a full and fun day! Jane will teach you to draw (yes, she will) and paint in watercolor in her fun, easy, intuitive style. Then, you’ll draw 10 objects in 10 different ways. In other words, Jane will show you different techniques and supplies to use in your sketchbook, as you are using your new found drawing and painting skills.

    Provided by Instructor:
  • Water soluble pencils
  • Water soluble crayons
  • White crayons
  • Book pages

    Students should bring:
  • A journal that opens flat and is good for watercolor (suggested Strathmore Visual Journal Mixed Media ~I like the 9x12” size)
  • Permanent ink pen (make sure it doesn’t bleed. I recommend Faber Castell Pitt artist Pen in Fine or medium point)
  • Watercolors (bring what you have, or a Prang watercolor set (not washable)
  • Niji Waterbrush, size Medium round (or watercolor brush of your choice)
  • Pencil
  • Eraser (kneaded erasers are great)
  • Water soluble pen ( I like the Tombow, but test your pens at home to see if they run when you wet them)
  • Sharpie pen (medium tip)
  • Objects to draw. Bring a selection of small objects from home. Including fruit or flowers. We’ll share objects in class.
