I am originally from New Orleans, where even as a child, I was making little earrings and rosaries. I became a clay artist about 18 years ago and was given the opportunity to change professions from RN (school nurse) to high school art teacher at CyFalls HS in Houston.

As a new teacher, I never stopped being a student. So after taking classes myself, added to the HS art curriculum, metalsmithing. Once I retired I never stopped teaching and was given another opportunity to teach classes at Spring Beads in Spring Texas and now at Adorn Me. I've been published in Belle Armoire and have been teaching metalsmithing for 9 years.

I love to teach different techniques and love to nurture creativity of the techniques.
