This class will teach you to transform a piece of copper hardware into a beautiful, unique cuff. You will learn to anneal and forge a premade copper van hanger as the base of your cuff. You will learn the process of torch-fired immersion enameling (all sides will be enameled) as you create an enameled bead, flower, headpins, and copper tube beads. You will experiment with different enamel products to create headpins and tube beads that have the look of lamp work. You will create your own closure from copper wire and solder it to your cuff. The last step is to add a leather and tube bead strap for closure. You will finish up by embellishing your design with silk ribbon.
