Kathy Combs is a relatively new kid on the block in the jewelry genre. She has forged her way through a lot of passions…fiber arts, needlework, stained glass, painting, pottery, sculpting, photography. She has even coauthored a couple of children’s picture books. Her current creative seduction is metal. She loves to cut it, forge it, torch it, bend it, twist it, roll it, solder it. Her true addiction came when she discovered torch-fired immersion enameling. Enamel in some form makes its way into most of her work. She has two projects in the works with Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine – the first will be published in the Summer 2012 issue.
