Knot Bead Pendant
Tuesday $65 Melanie Schow 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Student Level: Intermediate - Advanced Beginner
Type of Workshop: Project
Freeform wire bead, you can make simple or extravagant, and they are always evocative. With several gauges of wire and lots of imagination, you can create a one of a kind pendant. We will review and practice various wire shapes including cones, springs and coils. Larger gauges and interesting textures make this basic bead look complex and mysterious; at nearly one ounce of wire it feels substantial in your hand. We will discuss the use of liver of sulfur, a step you can take when you get home, to accentuate the detail of your pendant with an antique finish.
