    Learn to build and create texture with layers of coffee dyed fabrics and trims. Creating a one of a kind piece using old trims, lace, buttons, found objects and photos of characters from times long past. Finish it up with a sassy saying and you have a piece of art that will keep them talking for hours. Use this technique to create your own family’s history that can be passed down in a fun and fabulous way!

Materials fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
  • 12”x18” coffee dyed fabric
  • Photo transfer and sayings to choose from (there will be a huge variety)
  • Heavy weight paper
  • Wood slats, screw eye hooks and wire for hanging
    Instructor will provide:
  • Sewing Machines (bring your own if you are able)
  • Black thread
  • Glue
  • Paint and brushes
  • Heat Guns

    Students should bring:
  • A variety of fabric, trims, lace
  • Scissors for fabric
  • Any “special” embellishments you may want
  • An apron (because we are going to get messy)
