This class introduces you to the ancient art of NOTAN – the principles of POSITIVE (light) and NEGATIVE (dark) space. From a simple square, triangle and circle you will learn to cut and glue designs resulting in astounding new dimensions. These designs are suitable to incorporate into any type of medium you want to work in.

Students should bring:

• Scissors
• pencil
• X-acto knife

• small cutting mat.
