Working with just scraps of fabric and a small amount of embellishments plus a new material called “Softsculpta” create arty little quilted bracelets that hold their shape after heating. Lots of different hand and machine quilting techniques will be covered, as well as bead embellishment, fabric collage, and using found objects to make a unique piece of soft sculpted jewelry. Most students will finish in class and possibly start on a second piece.

Kit fee of $10 payable to instructor at class time includes soft sculpt and craft foam, printed fabric imagery, clasp findings, some fabrics and embellishments

Supply List :

5 or 6 different patterns cotton fabric (1/4 yd each or fat quarters)
sewing thread,
embellishments such as beads, buttons, charms and found objects
needles - sewing, embroidery, beading,

This class requires a sewing machine that does a zig-zag stitch. The teacher will be providing a limited number of machines for students to share. The best scenario would be if you had your own.
