Watercolor Pour Collage

Student level: All levels

Create a unique background for collage using quality, tube watercolor paints, stamps and a variety of resist materials. We’ll be mixing different pigment weights together into one ugly soup that turns into a very cool variegation once dried. It’s sort of magic but once you understand the science behind it you will be able to concoct your own color formula.

This technique holds many beautiful surprises! Everyone will produce something marvelously unique.

After the paper has dried we can add additional layers of paints, stamps, transfers and collage elements. The quality of this paper allows for stitching and 3 dimensional elements as well as book construction.

Instructor will provide : Mixing cups, some additional resist materials, paints, inks and some collage materials
