Unravel the mysteries of Polaroid Image Transfers

We will take your images and explore the transfer process of Polaroid Transfers using the Daylab CopySystem and seven different types of receptor sheets. You can use 4x6 photos, collages, photocopies or digital printouts to make your image. The CopySystem allows for great spontaneity in making instant collages without glue to make a transfer image. Bring some images to cut apart for layering. Shallow, non shiny items may be used as well. See supply list for suggestions. You will leave with images to use in further collage, add to an altered book or simply matt and frame. The resulting product is dreamy, artistic looking and totally your original. The class size is limited to twelve students for individual support. This is a class for all levels and is a process and product class. Kit fee of $10 payable to instructor at class time includes Polaroid film, booklet with instructions, materials needed for transferring, receptor sheets (papers, wood, silk), collage components and images to share.
Supply list:
4-8 images with good clarity with little black
Transparencies for layering over images and/or images printed on vellum
Scissors
Fine black sharpie
