Inspiration is all around us. By gathering ideas from a variety of sources & learning to "see" things in a new way, we become better artists. This is a class in not only learning how to "open your eyes" but how to work while silencing your inner art critic. You CAN do it and you WILL do it.
We will learn to blend together color, texture, images, acrylics and more in this class! Walk out of class with several "starter" pieces and at least one completed piece that will be ready to hang, frame, sell, or do what you like with. This is a fun, fast paced class where we will work furiously, but eagerly, not looking for "perfection" or "completion" but grabbing ideas left and right, pulling things together, and creating colorful, vibrant, soulful pieces.
Learn a variety of new tips, tricks and techniques while creating an unusual project. You will walk away with a pile of lusciously collaged and painted papers and several finished pieces of artwork.
Instructor will provide an array of mixed media supplies (including professional artist quality acrylic paints and mediums), a vast variety of rubber stamps, collage ephemera, and other supplies necessary to complete the project.
Supply list:
Please bring some color copies of artwork (journal pages, art books, etc...) and/or collage ephemera-copies please-as you will be tearing them up for collage and reworking themScissors

Cork backed metal ruler
One permanent black ink pad (like Versafine or Memories)
Full roll of paper towels
Full roll of waxed paper
Container to hold water in
3 bristle brushes or favorite brushes to paint and glue with
