Monochromatic Collage

This class is a lesson in working small. I will teach you to assemble recycled pieces of one color into a beautiful, monochromatic collage piece. You will learn selecting your color and pieces, design and completion of one or more pieces. These collage pieces are built within a small tin. If you would like, please furnish copies of your favorite photographs (bottle cap size or slightly larger), black and white or color, small broken pieces of your grandmother’s jewelry, a baby’s tooth, a dog tag, whatever brings your piece to life and adds a part of your personality will work. If you would like a theme to your piece, please bring appropriate pieces to tie it together. Example: Animal, baby, wedding, parent, child, school, etc.
Teacher will furnish: Tins of various sizes, Madonna Stamps, Beer caps, Stamps, Ribbon, Small CDs,
Beading, Broken jewelry, Mardi Gras beads, Tiny Flowers, Collage Materials
Supply List:
Scissors
E6000 Glue or Liquid Nails Clear (blue label)
Small copies of your favorite photographs (bottle cap size or slightly larger)
Ticket stubs, favorite designer labels, travel brochures of a loved destination
Anything shiny that catches your eye
Remember...think small
