This fun and colorful book consists of six oversized library pockets made from card stock. The book measures 5 ½ inches by 8 ½ inches. The pages, each a different color, are filled with lots of surprises including more library pockets, miniature books, tags, flip-flip attachments. Both sides of each page are adorned with these different elements. The front and back covers are made from book board covered with scrapbook paper. It is all bound together with waxed linen cord and beads in between each page which makes it easy to open and lie flat. Each student will receive all the supplies necessary to complete the book including fun things like vintage images, ribbons, tags, clips, etc.
Each student will receive an instruction sheet and a color photo of the finished sample. Most students will be able to finish the book in class, but the color photo will assist those who are not able to finish the embellishment.
Supply list:
Strong paper adhesive – PVA or Golden Gel Medium recommended (instructor will have some available for purchase)
Bone Folder
Ex-acto Knife or scalpel
Cutting mat
See-thru ruler for exactness in cutting
Japanese Screw Punch or strong paper punch (I will have mine available for students to use)
Eyelet Setter tool and mat (I will have these tools available for students to use)
