The Geisha Gallery Book with Secret Shrine

This unique book is hidden behind a canvas cover! The canvas is stenciled and textured with acrylic media. The gallery book is then built and glued to the back of the canvas. Pictures can be viewed through the cut outs in the first layer of the gallery book. The back side of the canvas is finished with acrylic media and the canvas frame forms the “cubby” for the hidden shrine! The book makes a great decorative and interesting show piece for your home! Our sample shows Geisha girls, but yours could showcase family photos or mini collages!
Supply fee of $20 payable to instructor at class time includes: Decorative Papers, Images (students may bring their own) , Ribbon , All Paints and Mediums, Misc. Ephemera, Coil bound instruction book
Supply List:
5” x 5” stretched canvas
Water container
1” brush for acrylics
Cutting mat
Knife with extra sharp blades
Bone folder
Metal ruler
Cutting Mat
1 1/2” square punch (there will be some to share)
2 large glue sticks
Brush for using PVA glue (glue provided)
