crayons…broken crayons, metallic crayons, multicolor crayons…crayon resists…who knew that this kids’ medium would be great for painted backgrounds? Incorporate melted crayons into your work opens a whole world of possibilities…melt them, smear them, mix them…doodle…paint with them to create glorious metallic effects in your art. In this technique workshop, discover various ways to use crayons in your artwork and create a crayon paper collage.
Kit Fee of $15 payable to instructor at class time includes Collage Unleashed kit of papers, crayon cupcakes, glitter, mica, metallic powders, stickers/labels, wax paper, metallic foils, b/w images, collage base
Instructor will provide: mark-making tools, unmounted rubber stamps, stencils, hot plate

Metallic crayons
Crayons in favorite colors
Mini quilting iron
Craft or travel iron no holes (this will be used to melt crayons)
Misc. paint brushes for use with melted crayons
2” flat brush (hardware store works great)
½” flat paint brush for glue
2 - 1” foam brush
Scissors
Disposable Foil muffin tin
Heat gun
Embellishments
Picture hanging wire
Tacky glue
