Combining process with project, leather, book board, paper and wire are transformed to create this wonderful book. Paper is richly colored and distressed with acrylic paints. Truly individual covers are formed of the carved boards. The design is enhanced with paints and Rub-n-buf. More color and interest is added with the lavishly colored and stamped (if desired) leather spine. A unique and embellishing binding is a distinguishing feature of this book. A wire worked hook and eye closure completes this charming volume.
Instructor will provide the book board, liner paper, leather, inks, some stamps, paints, Rub-n-buf, waxed linen thread, needle and wire.

Pencil
Ruler
X-acto knife
Awl and cushion (like a mouse pad)
Cheap paint brush (1” foam brush will be fine)
Glue brush
32 pieces of 140 LB watercolor paper (or its equivalent) cut or torn to approximately 5 1/2 ” x 7 1/2 ”
Needle nose pliers
Chain nose pliers
Optional: gloves
You may want to think of bold images no larger than 2” w ide by 5” high .
