Bohemian Beading

Student level: All levels - easier for those with some wire working experience

When it comes to personal adornment I have to ask, “Why be normal?” Why settle for mass produced items a million other people are wearing when you can easily make your own unique, identity pieces? Reflect yourself and your artistic sensibilities!

I LOVE working with metal and hope you will too after taking this class. We don’t often think of metal and organic together but we can persuade metal into organic shapes then add some beads and fabrics to create original, one of a kind pieces of art.

This is a technique-rich class covering a range of mediums so be prepared to really work. Once you learn these transferable skills you will be able to add another, unique dimension to any project.

This is a process-driven class but each student should leave with at lest one piece complete and an additional form or two. Skills taught are: metal hammer forging, shaping, all kinds of wiring and beading along with producing our own beads.

Instructor will provide : tools for class use, a variety of fabrics, jewelry findings, beads, wires and glue to share plus an enthusiasm for this addictive form of art.
