Love getting art ??
Well..  You gotta give a little to get a little and ATC’s are little cards with a Large impact. In this class you will learn a variety of techniques in which to create unusual and creative Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). The techniques learned can also be applied to various other art applications.

This class is both process and project oriented. No prior painting experience needed. We will make as many cards as time allows.

Techniques taught in this class:
The painted collage
Magazine Madness
Working intuitively with water color
Resist Techniques with Luna Lights
Using transparencies in your art
Metal tape transfers
Unusual and everyday items that can be used in your art

Materials Fee of $15.00 payable to instructor at class time includes Acrylic paints, Artist Trading Card Blanks, Templates, Water Colors, Resist materials, Transparencies, Collage papers, Luna Lights, Metal Tape, Transfer material and Magazines & more.

Supply List:
Detail scissors (for cutting small collage images)
Small Collage Images (pre-cut before class if you can)
Gel Medium  matte soft or regular  (Golden™ Brand recommended)
Disposable Paper paint palette 
Heat gun
Water container
Double-sided tape

(The markers listed below can be found at your local stamp or scrapbook stores or at the links listed below.)
Permanent Black Marker: Fine and/or ultra fine tipped.  (Recommended brand Koh I Noor Nexus art pen or Zig Memory System)
White Marker:  Galaxy Brand
Gold Metallic Pen:  Krylon Brand
Various sizes of Paint brushes

Optional materials:

Other Permanent Marker colors - Galaxy markers are my favorite!!!
