Tired of relying on fabricated structures? Would you rather build something from the foundation up? Empower yourself with fabricating your very own structure out of wood.

When it comes to building shrines, master the skills of construction. Gain a better understanding of wood working, design elements, and problem solving by learning how to create a shelter for an object.

By using a variety of different tools such as drills, jig saws, and glass cutters, create a stronger bond between you the artist and your equipment. The finished results of your new hand made structure that houses your sacred object. This process will help to open doors to future projects and will eliminate any inhabitation.

Instructor will provide access for all hand tools needed to complete the project

Kit Fee of $15 payable to instructor at class time includes: Metal paint, patina chemicals, acrylic paint, wood to build box shrine, frame molding, glass, adhesives, some embellishments, brass nails and handout

Supply List:
One Special object to give a new home (*Under 6 inches works best) This object can be anything with personal meaning - a doll or toy, an old glass bottle or even an old photograph.
Embellishments or favorite decorative things
Text or images if desired
