The Dimensional Journal
Date: Sunday, August 29, 2004
Time: 9am – 5:30pm
Instructor: Lisa Pavelka
Cost: $115

Explore a myriad of techniques that will be used to create a quilted-collage journal cover. Learn how to make foil resists and faux surface treatments that come together with stamped and textured backgrounds. We'll combine these concepts with molded surface treatments and a variety embellishments to create a mixed media journal cover. Polymer clay is truly the chameleon of mediums. It can be magically transformed to create endless effects that are not only stunning, but invite tactile discovery. You won't mind letting others handle your masterpiece because polymer clay is waterproof, colorfast and extremely durable.

Lisa will provide a fabric covered journal, polymer clay, liquid polymer medium, texture gel, paint, polymer clay foils, pigment powders, clay blades, molds, embellishments, texture sheets, assorted rubber stamps and handouts.
