Talisman Bracelet

Create one of-a-kind charms in sterling silver, brass and copper using Basic metal working skills: hand hammering, shaping, stamping and a variety of oxidizing methods. Fashion a unique bracelet using these charms, found objects and other unusual materials. Become familiar with metalworking tools such as the dremel and their care. Learn Talisman history and how they were created to gain certain attributes such as protection, strength, material and spiritual gain. Students will finish their bracelet with a sterling silver closure. (beginning metalwork)
A kit fee of 12.00 is payable to instructor at class time which includes sheet metal, (sterling silver, brass and copper), jump rings, sterling silver link, silver wire for closure, sandpaper and handout.

small hammer
