This class will teach dimensional surface effects for clay that resemble pop art designs originating in the 1960s. We'll explore a variety of settings to frame the clay focal element(s) created. Students will also learn how to create gradient effects to make their work appear even more dimensional. Options for decorative embellishment including the inclusion of focal crystals and basic millefiori cane accents will be covered. Students will complete one or more pieces in class.
