Using copper and silver sheeting and many options in tin cans and found metal surfaces, students will design and assemble pendants, broaches and earrings. Wire, bezels and cold connections will be used to create the jewelry.

Designing will be a big part of this class as well as many metal techniques. Paint, embossing, colored pencils will all be used to obtain interesting surfaces.

Kit/Materials Fee (payable to instructor at class time):

  • $48.00 - all materials are provided for the class project

Student should bring:

  • Hammer
  • Bench block
  • Texturing hammers if desired
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Metal scissors or snips
  • Wire cutters

Some workshops may require that you bring supplies or tools that you may not presently possess. If you'd like to place an advance order for supplies & tools for pick up at the on-site store when you arrive at AU, contact:
