I love texture and lots of it. Earth Alchemy combines products found at the home supply store with fine art supplies to create incredible textures on canvas and boards that you can then carve into, draw on, paint, glaze, transfer, you name it! The materials will make your surface look like concrete or even stone. We will add Venetian plaster, colors and pigments too. Throw in some collage and glazing and you will leave with some beautiful paintings.

Student should bring:

• writing pen, spray bottle for water, spray bottle for alcohol, a few of your favorite paint colors, I will bring paints that you can use, a plastic trowel palette knife, soft nylon brush-flat 1/2" is a good size, container for water, scissors, paper towels, apron or paint clothes, foam plates for palette

Optional:

• bring your own heat gun and wax paper for wrapping your finished paintings
