Nicho Book: the Book as an Altar
Date: Sunday, August 29, 2004
Time: 9am – 4:30pm
Instructor: Karen Michel
Cost: $100
We will create a small hand bound book to be filled with about 10 things (concepts, images, people) that inspire you. Each inspiration will have it's own page in the book. Think collage elements, personal photos, trinkets, etc. The book will then be mounted onto a back support made of a combination of metal & board, cut out & shaped in a “nicho” manner. The back support will be wired so that it can be hung on the wall.
Book Kit fee of $10 is payable to instructor at time of workshop.
