Intuitive Collage Card Deck
Date: Saturday, August 23, 2003
Time: 1 - 5pm
Instructor: Roberta Altshuler & Vicki Rinehart
Cost: $75
 Using multi-media techniques, collage and stamping, participants will create the beginnings of their own personal messenger card deck, a tarot like card deck. The last part of the day will be a lesson in reading the cards produced.
Supplies (additional materials to be provided by the Student):

Small sharp scissors

Large glue stick
-
2 - 3 magazines or catalogues you are willing to cut up

One piece of really cool wrapping paper, metallic or foil

4 or 5 favorite stamp images embossed on magazine pages and cut out

Approximately one dozen different images, large and small, cut out from various magazines and catalogues

Oil pastels or Craypas, Prismacolor or Lyra metallic pencils, gel pens
Please make a few photo montages by putting as many photographs (either color or black and white) on to an 8 1/2x11 sheets and having them color copied. We do not want to use originals. Also consider enlarging or reducing some of the photos so that they fit. We will be collaging with the images. Also bring several magazines and catalogs that have some meaningful photos, that you are willing to cut up and share.
