We all love the timeless feel of vintage photos and they have appeared in a lot of today's altered art.but wouldn't you LOVE to see some color in them?? In this workshop we will play with creating fun, COLORFUL backgrounds to compliment our favourite vintage images! We will also play with some whimsical touches to help "FUNK UP" our finished pieces.
Supply List: Assorted collage materials you like to use, Several color copies of vintage photos, Golden gel medium in MATTE finish, 1 bottle of white gesso, 5-6 colors of inexpensive acrylic paints (please don't pick 4 shades of blue.mix it up a bit!) such as Folk art or Delta, 1 spray bottle for water, 1 roll of painter's tape (1/2"), 1 charcoal pencil, 1 plastic credit/membership card (expired, of course!), 5-6 foam brushes, 1 fine detail brush, Speedball rubber brayer, water container for brushes, heat gun & extension cord, paper towel for clean up, 1 pad of canvas, scissors, pencil, ruler, Black Sharpie marker
