Student Name Badge Contest Rules

The badge should reflect the theme of the event "Pushing the Envelope ", no matter which category you are entering.

Your badge should include:

1. Your first name (last name would be nice but not required)

2. Your City and/or State (if you live in a small, unknown town, then use the state too;
if you live in a large city where the state would be known, i.e., San Francisco, then only the city name will be fine)

3. A small photo of yourself

Eligibility: attendance at one full day workshop

Categories:
Best "Pushing the Envelope" Theme Badge
Best "wild and crazy" badge
Best use of "found objects" badge (the grungier, the better)

Prizes: Gift bags valued at not less than $50 retail

The booklets that will be mailed in the June-July time frame will include an item(s) that can be included in your badge.

Drop by the registration desk when there's not a line (please not during class registration hours) to have a digital photo of you and your badge taken for the judging. Judging will take place prior to the Sunday evening Awards Party and the winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded at the party. For winners not at the party, the prize will be mailed.

If you choose not to make a name badge, ugly white self-stick badges will be available at the registration desk.
