Roann Mathias

Roann Mathias is a mixed media artist who specializes in calligraphy. She has studied with nationally recognized teachers including Sheila Waters, Thomas Ingmire, Marsha Brady and Reggie Ezell. Roann holds a BS in History, and a Masters degree in Art History.

For the past nineteen years Roann has designed greeting cards, stationery and calendars for The Printery House of Conception Abbey. She has also designed cards for Cleo, Expressions Greetings, Abbey Press and DaySpring. Argus and the Printery House have featured her calligraphy in wall calendars since 1998. Her work has been published in The Speedball Textbook, Letter Arts Review and Somerset Studio Magazine . Her original calligraphic pieces have been in national juried shows, including Visions of the Spirit in Washington , D.C. and Word for Word , in Ohio . Visit her website www.roanndesigns.com
