Sylvia Luna

Sylvia Luna aka Silver Moon has been focusing and developing her art since the death of her only child Steve who passed away in his sleep from a Sudden Arrhythmia Death in 1997 without any previous signs of medical problems. What began with simple rubberstamping has evolved into what is now known nationally as Silver Moon Grunge, an avant garde style which transforms various found objects using a wide array of mediums to appear aged and imperfect. She enjoys teaching her process classes in a structured manner allowing students to receive individual attention as needed. Recent publications include ARTitude since their premier issue, 7gypsies in Paris, Somerset Wedding, Cloth Paper Scissors, and Mary Engelbreicht's Home Companion. Sylvia signs all of her artwork with her special motto, "PS. I love Steve!" Sylvia Luna/Silver Moon is a native of Arizona, currently residing in Gilbert. Website: www.silvermoonstudios.com
