
This workshop focuses on a few new ideas to build cold join box bezels and fill them with an array of unusual material. Learn “out of the box” techniques for attaching and holding your material. Focus on join ideas that use drawing a bead and staples. Sharpen jewelers skills by sawing rulers, reflector material to create individual charms for a bracelet or necklace. Alter a key in an interesting way to create a unique closure. Beginners will learn metal techniques and established artists will incorporate their own work in conjunction with metal.
$36 kit fee payable to instructor at class time includes - 2 handmade silver bezes, 4 cast brass bezels, sterling silver bezel wire, sterling silver wire, copper sheet metal, organic and nonorganic materials.

If you have, bring pieces of your work to enclose in metal, such as fabric, paintings, drawings, pottery shards etc. A rock or piece of sea glass, pottery etc.
