It’s easier than you think to create durable and functional frames for a variety of applications from altered books, card making, and collaging, to scrapbooking and jewelry making. We’ll be working with polymer clay to create a variety of finished frames including dimensional, textured and flat finishes. You’ll learn techniques you will effortlessly replicate at home including: faux fabric (satins and textured textiles), inlay, stamped (with powdered or foiled finishes) and molded frames from found objects to recreate a variety of designs over and over with perfect results. You’ll create at least three finished frames, along with several techniques to make a large variety of finishes for frames of all sizes. This is the perfect way to showcase your treasured photos and collectibles.
Instructor will provide the following: Polymer clays, texture plates, rolling mats, molds and molding material, stamps, release agent, powders, inks, deli sheets, oven, and baby wipes.

Clay dedicated pasta machine with a medium to large “C” clamp
