For the past 26 years I’ve maintained a business fabricating soft furnishings for interiors in central California, and before that I owned a “shabby chic” type shop (before it became chic!) with a partner in San Diego. But of all the professional hats I’ve worn over the years, I’m still surprised at the joy that teaching brings me. While I’ve been lucky to be able to use my creative skills over the years to make a living, it wasn’t until I found beading and wire work that I knew I had found my “creative home”.
For the past 10 years it has been a privilege to share my skills by teaching in various parts of the country, sometimes traveling to places I’d never planned to visit (Detroit in winter – seriously?), but always being delighted to encourage others to expand and explore their own creative voice.
