Didi Bourbon is a color-obsessed textile artist living in Phoenix , Arizona. She has a painting degree in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico and is the author of Simply Seminole, a book of easily mastered quilting techniques based on the work of the Seminole. She was a featured guest on HGTV’s Simply Quilts but sadly, she hates to sew. With her discovery of Golden fabric painting mediums, she was able to cut loose and combine her love of paint and fabric into freewheeling color explorations where all of it is the fun part. She has taught both children and adults and lives for those aha moments when she has to dive out of the way because someone just ‘got’ it and is ready to let their creative spirit run wild.
