
Collage Unleashed...creating with no fear, an edgy style and many layers, in this fast-paced workshop you will create a wall of inspiration with fusion-dyed collages, mixed media art quilts layered with dyed and painted papers and cloth accented with funky stitched designs and words. Learn a plethora of my collage, painting, lettering, doodling and freestyle stitching techniques to create an artful wall hanging connected with wire, beads and metal tags. Look for my upcoming book, Collage Unleashed, due out May 2006!
Kit fee of $15 payable to instructor at class time includes fabric, hot press watercolor paper, 12x18 heavy drawing paper, card stock, rice paper, lace papers, tissue paper, newsprint, deli paper, napkins, cheese cloth, muslin, fabric pieces, embellishment starter kit, symbol/collage images, watercolor paints and metallic inks, sumi ink, Ultra Markers, misc. pens, mark making tools, glazes, stencils, hand carved stamps, freezer paper.

Large patterns, symbols & letters work best. Tip: enlarge images on the Xerox copy machine to blow up into backgrounds for collage. I will provide plenty to use. Additional STUFF to personalize your book
