Riki has been a jewelry designer and teacher for almost two decades. After retiring from a career in radio sales and management, she returned to her passion. Finding a love for mixed media and jewelry design, she continues to study with those she most admires. Riki travels as far away as France to shop their amazing flea markets whenever she can, hoping to find the perfect vintage objects to set her romantic creations apart and bring unique items to students when possible.
Previously on the faculty at Adorn Me in Houston, she teaches at national mixed media retreats including Vivi Magoo in Tucson, Art is You in Petaluma, and Art Unraveled in Phoenix, and packs them in at the Los Angeles venue Make Art in LA. She is also a valued instructor with the very successful on-line art retreat Artful Gathering, now going in to her fourth year. She has been published a number of times in the prestigious Stampington art publications, Jewelry Affaire and Belle Armoire Jewelry.
