Thomas Mann delivers a succinct understanding of one of the primary tools of metalsmithing and guarantees students will be sawing like champs in under three hours. Students will be able to saw precise designs out of everything from paper to steel. Students will leave with several finished charms and a mini slot-sculpture from the sawing experience. No skills necessary.
Materials/Kit Fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
- Saw blades
- 3 x 4" sheet 22g brass with paper template
- 3 x 4” sheet 1/16 ” acrylic with paper template
- The instructor will provide tools and equipment necessary for this class. Students can bring personal jewelry-making hand tools and safety equipment if they have on hand.
