Everyone has a “window to their heart”, but not like this one!
In this class you will cut (using metal shears or your jeweler’s saw), forge and hand form a cuff. You will be able to etch and add texture to additional pieces of metal, cutting out one or more metal hearts to use. By adding one or two layers of metal onto the top of your cuff, it will allow you to cut open a window, letting all the world peek inside your heart! You will have the option to fill your window with whatever you desire, such as a special picture, vintage text or a favorite quote, which you will then cover with mica.
I will share a technique for lacing around the edge of your heart, allowing you to perhaps add a vintage rhinestone ear bob or scatter pin, if you so desire.
The day will quickly pass as you find out just how much fun it is to design your very own Window to Your Heart!
