Metal Clay classes teach you so much, but have you ever thought of using your newly acquired techniques to make other shapes and forms? In this class you’ll make a beautiful pillow shaped bead and then alter it’s shape to create a small bottle or swing hinge locket. Students work at different rates. At least one bead will be fired before lunch and completely finished after the break. All pieces will be fired by the end of class. A riveting and wire curling demonstration will show you how to complete the Swing Locket.
Materials fee of $15 payable to Instructor at class time - Materials fee may vary slightly (up or down) at time of class.
Teacher will provide: Kiln, dehydrator, patina supplies, forming tools to share and use in class. Fine silver wire for each student.
