Create unusual, interesting and dimensional jewelry created of all wire and mixed media, such a small sticks and egg shells to create a birds nest look. Manipulate and fabricate wire as you have never before. Utilize the powerful characteristic of negative space and positive space by constructing unique hollow shapes and fill them with altered wire to create a birds nest look. A variety of new cold join techniques presented, such as staples and tabs, swing hinges, intertwining and long splice knotting with wire. Students will finish an assortment of jewelry.
Materials Fee of $35 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
