    In this class students will learn how to properly use a jewelers saw to pierce out negative space to create a pair of post earrings. Students will experiment with texture, rivets as embellishment or wire wrapped stones to personalize their earrings. A liver of sulfur patina will be added to enhance depth and deminsion.

    Materials fee of $35 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

  • copper sheet
  • base metal earring post
  • earring backs
  • consumables
  • written instructions

    *Sterling silver will be available at class time for students wishing to work in silver, it will be priced at market value at the time of class.

    Instructor will provide all tools and equipment need to complete this class. Students will be required to share the tools in pairs. These tools are v-slot bench pins, jewelers saws, saw blades, bees wax, hand punches, files, square nose pliers, texture hammers, design stamps, hammers, anvil, protective work surface, rulers, markers, metal sheers

  • Safety glasses, face mask and ear plugs if desired
