Let's face it…silver is expensive. But you can get a fabulous silver look using readily available, and inexpensive, silver-bearing lead-free solder. When heated to a molten stage, the solder becomes easily stamped and takes on the look of cast silver. In this class you will learn how to etch a master stamp of heavy gauge non-ferrous sheet metal and then use the stamp to create "cast silver" components. Riveted onto a metal backdrop, these will turn into fabulous bracelets, cuffs and/or belt buckles. Bezel making will also be explored so that you can add cabochons, stones, beads or found objects into your piece.

(Soldering experience will be helpful, but not essential as the basics will be discussed and demonstrated.)

Materials fee of $6 payable to Instructor at class time includes:
