    Take advantage of Thomas Mann’s 40 years of professional metalsmithing experience and learn the secrets of shaping metals for jewelry applications. This course will introduce you to the equipment and basic techniques necessary to advance your metalsmithing and creative know-how. The instructor demonstrates numerous techniques ranging from forging to die forming in the morning, and students will have a hands-on opportunity throughout the afternoon.

    This is a limited seat workshop; register early to avoid disappointment.

    Kit Fee of $45 payable to Instructor at class time includes:

  • 6 x 6” 22g copper sheet
  • 8g round copper wire
  • 4 x 4” 20g brass sheet
  • 14g round silver wire
  • Sawing diagrams

    • Many tools and equipment necessary for the course will be available for use in class and also to purchase, but please bring personal jewelry making hand tools and safety equipment if possible.
