Student Level: All levels welcome
Type of Workshop: Project

Building dimensional jewelry with petal, leaf and wing canes can offer a whole new way to work with polymer clay canes. In this class, students will learn to create durable earrings using the instructor’s canes and walk out of class wearing their new creations. Lynne Ann will demonstrate how to reduce and shape the canes, cut even slices, create strong bonds between clay and metal findings, and attach Swarovski crystal elements to make sparkly, one of a kind designs. Whether you have never touched polymer clay or you are just looking for a fun and innovative way to use bits and pieces of canes you’ve made over the years, this class promises to provide students with a great foundation in building dimensional cane jewelry, not to mention a great new pair of earrings!

Kit fee of $12 payable to Instructor at class time includes: Polymer clay petal, leaf and/or wing canes, metal filigree earring findings, super glue, brush and applicator, special adhesive material, index cards, baby wipes, cornstarch, scrap clay, eyelets, Swarovski crystals, detailed written and graphical instruction packet, use of instructors blades and tools.
