In this groundbreaking workshop be inspired and learn new techniques. This workshop is for all jewelers and artists, and a must for painters and fiber artists to move their work into metal jewelry.
Begin by fabricating an unusual, hip and dimensional metal bracelet that has many joins and provides for a lot of sleek movement. Learn new join techniques by constructing and drawing a bead for attachments in ways you have never seen. Move into altering, stitching, stretching and embedding into fiber and organza ribbon. Use your own voice to create very unique works of art by embedding small objects and transparency’s. Finish a bracelet and learn new technique and design ideas. Create earrings and charms as time allows.
Kit fee of $34 payable to instructor at the beginning of class includes: 1 oz. sterling silver 18 gauge wire, silver tubing, metal spacers, heeshie, use of transparency’s, organza ribbon, needle, thread etc.
